Redskins re-signed Josh Evans.
With Donte Whitner placed on injured reserve, the team added Evans to give more depth in the secondary. However, he is not expected to see much time, it any at all in the season finale, so no reason to keep an eye on him this week at practice.

The move was made to open up a roster sport to RB Mack Brown, who was activated in case Jones is ruled inactive for Sunday's game. Evans played in two games for Washington this season, recording one tackle with zero interceptions.

The team not only added Evans to its secondary, but safety Donte Whitner as well. Evans was drafted by the Jaguars in the sixth-round of the 2013 draft, after a solid career at Florida. He's not worth owning in any IDP formats.
