The battle for the K position for the Atlanta Falcons has been decided Friday as they release Shayne Graham. Matt Bryant who has been the steady kicker for the Falcons for the last several seasons will keep his job for 2016.

It appears that journeyman kicker Shayne Graham has resigned with the Atlanta Falcons for the 2016 season. Graham who only played in five games last season, is going into his 16th year in the league.
Shayne Graham was 1-for-2 on field goal attempts and converted both of his extra-points during the Falcons loss on Sunday.
Veteran Shayne Graham filled in affably for fellow veteran Matt Bryant and displaced him at the end of the year. Graham finished the year with only five points for the Falcons, but kicking in a controlled environment for half of his games makes him a viable mid-range kicker for 2016 if he stays with the Falcons.
