Aaron Ross

The former first round pick of the Giants will get a chance to make the team with the Browns. He will add some depth to the secondary but it is not a sure thing to see him on the roster come Week 1.

And he\'s done for the year. Ross was brought in to compete for the team\'s nickleback role. Now he\'ll hang out on the sidelines with nothing to do but heal.

Tough break for Ross. He\'ll sit out all year long and will give it a try in 2015. The recovery period is too long to think that he could even remotely play or be effective late this season.

The Ravens were looking to add some to depth to their defense and signing Ross is part of that move.
