Sensabaugh had been a free agent since a four-game stint with Denver that ended in Week 9. He'll provide depth in Washington's secondary.
The Broncos waived Sensabaugh on Wednesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Sensabaugh was let go to make room for fellow cornerback Cyrus Jones on the 53-man roster. The 30-year-old appeared in four contests with Denver this season, during which he recorded two tackles (one solo). He'll look to catch on with another club.

Sensabaugh spent the last two seasons in Pittsburgh but didn't garner much interest this offseason. The 30-year-old figures to fill a reserve role at cornerback for the Broncos.
Sensabaugh (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Sensabaugh suffered a toe injury during Pittsburgh's win over the Browns in Week 8, but was a full participant in Friday's practice after having been limited to begin the week. If the rotational cornerback is unable to play, Mike Hilton could receive an uptick in defensive snaps.
