Patterson was involved in a bit of controversy this preseaon after he was suspended for leaving the team without permission.

Patterson is claiming that his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, contacted the Jets several hours before the preseason game, so this is now starting to turn into an annoying he said/she said debate. For fantasy owners, the truth is almost irrelevant. All we want to know is if he\'s playing in that debacle of a Jets secondary or not. Not that his presence is going to vault it into some tier that makes you eager to draft them

Patterson was suspended indefinitely by the Jets after leaving the team without permission.

This is a strange situation, as he allegedly \"disappeared\" for 48 hours, missing the Jets\' preseason game. It\'s hard to imagine the Jets suspending him for a long time, as they have a very thin secondary and previously had Patterson starting at CB for them.
