Stanley Jean-Baptiste

The nature and severity of Jean-Baptiste's injury remain undisclosed. The 2014 second-round pick will look to earn a shot elsewhere in the league after returning to full health.

A 2014 draft selection at number 58 overall, the Nebraska product has spent his career on practice squads and not looking ready to be on the field. Seattle though has an affinity for big corners and Jean-Baptiste fits the bill making it make sense to offer him a futures contract. He will continue to try and improve enough to see the field in 2016.

Jean-Baptiste appeared in four games for the Saints last year, but only played in a very limited special teams role. He will provide depth for the Seahawks for the remainder of the season.

Jean-Baptiste had not played in any games for the Lions this season. He did play in four games for the Saints last season, but he failed to record a tackle. He is only 25 years old, so he is hoping that another team will sign him to their practice squad.
