Ron brooks (Ruptured quadriceps tendon) said he'll be ready for the start of 2017 season.
Brooks was injured in Week 7 against Minnesota. In his shortened season, Brooks had 14 tackles and defended one pass.
Ron Brooks has undergone the surgery to repair a torn tendon in his quadriceps.
Brooks has been ruled out for the rest of the season, and will require surgery on his torn tendon suffered last week. Expect Malcolm Jenkins to continue to replace him as their slot CB.

Brooks ruptured his quad in the Eagles Week 7 win and will miss the remainder of the season. The Eagles opened up a roster spot by placing the injured Brooks on IR, so they're expected to work out Aaron Grymes on Monday who could make the team and take Brooks spot.

It's being reported that Brooks suffered a serious rupture in his quad and will likely undergo season-ending surgery. That'll be a big hit to the Eagles top defense as he was their primary slot corner. He was carted off the field after trying to make an open field tackle and his first year as an Eagle is all but finished. Malcom Jenkins took over the slot after Brooks' departure and Jaylen Watkins came in to play on the outside.
