Shareece Wright
Player News
Wright signed with the Bills on Monday.
Shareece Wright is expected to start at cornerback in Week 11.
Wright, who has missed the Ravens last three games due to a hamstring injury, will make his return to the lineup today and will start at corner against the Cowboys. With Jimmy Smith out today, the Ravens will be leaning heavily on Wright to help contain Dez Bryant who had a breakout game last week against the Steelers.
Shareece Wright (thigh) did not practice on Thursday.
Wright sat out on Thursday but did manage a limited practice on Wednesday, so there is a good chance he will play on Sunday against Pittsburgh. The veteran cornerback has already missed two games this year.
Shareece Wright recorded 11 tackles during the Ravens’ 13-7 win over Buffalo on Sunday.
Wright spent the last four seasons with the Chargers and never recorded this many tackles in a single game, so it is safe to say this is an outlier. He did start on Sunday and performed quite well, so his job is most certainly safe, but to expect this every week would be somewhat ridiculous. It is likely that Wright will be a top waiver wire add in IDP leagues this week.
