Darius Butler remains in concussion protocol
Butler will need to clear the leagues concussion protocol if he hopes to play in Week 17 but seeing as the Colts are not playing for anything it would seem unlikely he suits up if not 100 percent.
Update: Darius Butler (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Butler was injured trying to tackle Raiders running back Jalen Richard. He he being evaluated for a concussion, but the fact that he has been ruled out for the rest of the game indicates that he most likely did suffer a concussion on the play. If that is the case, he will be in the concussion protocol for the coming week, and be a question mark to return for Week 17.
Darius Butler is being evaluated for a possible concussion.
Butler is set to become a free agent in the offseason and he's been playing some pretty good football as of late. He's done well enough in a suspect Indianapolis secondary to give the Colts some motivation to re-sign him. Unfortunately Butler is being examined for a concussion and could miss the remainder of Saturday's game against Oakland.
