The 28-year-old offers veteran NFL experience, despite not having played a starting role since 2016, when he accumulated 56 tackles, 13 pass breakups and two interceptions with the Saints. The Bears could also utilize Moore on special teams, if the two sides are able to reach an agreement.

Moore has not played since suffering the pectoral injury Week 2 against the Patriots, but seems fully healthy following the Saints' bye week. Bills sign free-agent cornerback Sterling Moore.
Moore makes the fourth free agent to since in Buffalo in the last few days as the Bills continue to bolster their roster with cheap veteran talent. At 26 years old, Buffalo will be his fourth team after being with the Patriots, Cowboys and Buccaneers most recently. A depth add in the defensive backfield is what Moore represents right now and he could contribute on special teams for the Bills as well.
