Falcons placed Evan Royster (ribs) on injured reserve.
Royster appeared in 16 games for the Redskins in 2012, but has faded into obscurity since then. He'll look to find a job with another team, though that doesn't seem likely.
Falcons signed RB Evan Royster on Sunday.
With both Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman dealing with hamstring injuries, the Falcons will bring in Royster to provide depth in the backfield during training camp. He is not expected to have any sort of an impact this season and might not even make it out of camp on the roster.

Redskins RB Evan Royster sat out his third consecutive practice Monday due to a strained left hamstring.
Currently he is Washington\'s No. 3 back behind Alfred Morris and Roy Helu, but he is being challenged by a lot of younger, faster and more talented running backs on the roster at training camp down in Richmond. The Redskins tried Royster on special teams last season and was ineffective. This might be the season that the Skins part ways with the former Nittany Lions stand out.
