Jets waived RB Matthew Tucker on saturday.
Okay, with this move the Seastrunk signing makes a little more sense. Tucker has dealt with injuries and has been waived with a injury designation, meaning if he clears waivers he will return to the Jets and put on their injury reserve list.
Tucker missed all of 2015 after suffering a torn quadriceps while playing basketball in the off-season. Philadelphia released him in July of 2015, and he is apparently not what the Jets were looking for going into 2016. He has a chance of hooking on to another team, but his prospects are certainly not all that bright and shiny given his history.

The 24-year old doesn't have a career carry, and has spent much of his career on the practice squad, He's now a free agent and will get a chance to sign with any team.
