Arian Foster
Player News
Arian Foster has announced his retirement from football.
It's tough to say that this is incredibly shocking considering the fact that he hasn't been healthy in three years now and has virtually no shot at reclaiming his job back from second year sensation Jay Ajayi. In any event, lets remember Foster for who he was as a young player – one of the most talented every down backs in the league, with a keen nose for the end zone. Just as he did after every touchdown – Foster takes a final bow and prayer to all of his fans on Monday night with a press release on "Uninterrupted."
Arian Foster was a full participant at Thursday's practice.
For the first time since Week 2, Foster practiced fully. Good news that he is getting close to being 100 percent. Last week against the Steelers, Jay Ajayi dominated touches but that may have been due to Foster not being 100 percent. Even if Foster gets a bigger share of the workload he isn't a good start against a Bills defense that is playing well.
Arian Foster (hamstring) practiced in full on Wednesday.
After what Jay Ajayi just did this past weekend, chances are that Foster lost his opportunity to serve as a starting RB for Miami. That doesn't mean that he will not play, in fact, that may be the best thing for him, as a limited workload may keep him healthier going forward.
Arian Foster (hamstring) is still not at 100 percent, according to head coach Adam Gase.
Foster not being 100-percent is probably half the reason he didn't see much of the field on Sunday but also because Jay Ajayi ran wild on the Browns and ended up with 200-plus yards. Even when Foster returns, this is Ajayi's job going forward. Foster is the better pass catcher, so he'll still see time on third downs and such, but he's just totally unreliable.
