Joique Bell

The Lions have added running back depth back by signing Bell on Tuesday. He has only played four games all season in the NFL this year and hasn't really been a factor in a team's backfield in a couple of seasons. He simply depth at this point.

The no RB approach has not worked out well for the Packers thus far. Bell was released by the Bears at the end of October, after not showing much offensively, and while the early reports had him signing with Green Bay on Monday, he is still waiting for an offer to be tendered.

Wow. The search for a RB has finally come to an end. With James Starks nearing a return, Bell would likely serve as the short-yardage back. But given the Packers luck this year, Starks will get hurt and Bell will turn into a workhorse. We love you, fantasy football. Bell is worth picking up as a desperation move but only if you're cutting dead weight.

Bell was once a very sought after fantasy running back with the Lions because of his ability to get in the end zone but he has severely struggled over the past two years. Bell's yards per carry dipped all the way to 3.5 in 2015 and over his three measly carries this season, he's averaged 2.0.
