Knile Davis

Davis returns to the Chiefs, after being first with the Packers for a time, then the Jets for a day or so. With Spencer Ware and Jamaal Charles out of action, he will be asked to backup starter Charcandrick West on Sunday when the Chiefs host the Jags.

Just after hours after being claimed from waivers by the NY Jets from Green Bay, RB Knile Davis may once again find himself being released. Davis who was traded to Green Bay from the Chiefs on October 18th, would be let go to free up a roster spot, as the Jets are finalizing a deal with RB C.J.Spiller.

Just weeks after trading for him, the running back thin Packers felt it time to cut Davis. The Jets, a team seemingly pretty set at the position felt the need to pick him up. Best guess is that he will be a top special teams contributor for the Jets going forward.

Shocking news coming out of Green Bay as they've released Knile Davis after just two week of signing him. Green Bay will likely stick with Montgomery as their RB/WR option, as it wouldn't surprise many people if Davis does go back to the Chiefs following the injury of Spencer Ware.
