Lance Dunbar
Player News
Lance Dunbar is expected to get some targets in the passing game.
Dunbar, who has missed the Cowboys last three games due to a knee injury, will be worked back into the lineup by getting some targets out of the backfield. Despite this breaking news, Dunbar isn't someone on my radar for fantasy purposes seeing that he has only been targeted in the passing game five times in the four games that he was active for earlier in 2016.
Lance Dunbar (knee) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday.
Wednesday's participation in practice marked the first time in three weeks that he can been able to take snaps, and is now expected to play against the Eagles on Sunday night. Baring any setbacks unbar will be used as a change-of-pace back for the Cowboys to compliment Ezekiel Elliott out of the backfield.
RB Lance Dunbar is dealing with a knee ailment and will be monitored closely at practice on Thursday.
Dunbar does get involved on a limited basis for the Cowboys' offense, but he does not see enough action to merit much fantasy consideration. He could be a game-time decision this week.
Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar didn't practice Wednesday because of a knee injury.
Although the Cwwboys didn't report an injury to Dunbar following their Week 4 win over the 49ers, the team's change-of-pace running back was unable to take the field on Wednesday. Considering it is still early in the week there is no reason to jump to conclusions on Dunbar's availability, although if you are relying on him to play in Week 5 you are likely in a desperate situation so hopefully this is just a precautionary measure.
