Browns RB Jalen Parmele was cut on Monday.
With the Browns having a bunch of RBs banged up, this gives a hint of Parmele's value in the NFL. He may catch on with another team, but likely only as a special teams or practice squad player.
Browns signed running backs Timothy Flanders and Jalen Parmele and waived WR Kevin Cone and DB Brandon Stephens.
With three running backs injured already Flanders and Parmelee will serve as running back depth until the others return. Neither one is expected to make the roster out of camp.
Cardinals release RB Jalen Parmele.
Parmele was just signed last week by the Cardinals. He got only one touch in Sunday\'s win over the 49ers. The Cardinals signed undrafted rookie DT Bruce Gaston off the Dolphins\' practice squad to take Parmele\'s roster spot.
Jalen Parmele will be the Cardinals short yardage back according to coach Bruce Arians.
Andre Ellington and Stepfan Taylor will resume their usual roles while Parmele takes over for Jonathan Dwyer who has been deactivated by the Cardinals due to his domestic violence issues.
