Vikings have waived running back Henry Josey.
Josey was like the sixth-best running back on the Vikings and then got pushed down the depth chart even further with the return of Adrian Peterson. Perhaps he'll try to land with another team, but the Vikings had enough bodies in the backfield as it is.
Vikings signed RB Henry Josey off the Jaguars practice squad.
With the release of Ben Tate, the Vikings will grab Josey just for this final game of the season. Whether or not he stays a part of the 53-man roster is not yet known, but a strong showing this week at practice should certainly help his chances.
