Khiry Robinson
Player News
Jets placed RB Khiry Robinson on injured reserve with a broken leg.
This will be Robinson's third broken leg since November 2015. Robinson played in one game this season which was Week 16 in a blowout loss to the Patriots where he managed 27 yards on eight carries. With Robinson on a one-year contract and the recent injuries, it will be unlikely that the Jets or any NFL team will look to sign Robinson in 2017.
Jets signed Khiry Robinson.
Robinson was cut by the Jets prior to Week 1 after he wasn't fully healthy following a broken leg. He is going to serge as the team' No. 3 running back behind both Matt Forte and Bilal Powell, so if he plays there are going to have to be some injuries to the players ahead of him on the depth chart.
Jets waived RB Khiry Robinson on Sunday.
Robinson was an injury waiver as he injured his leg not too long ago. Unfortunately he won't be serving as a backup for the Jets this year.
Khiry Robinson is making his Jets preseason debut on Thursday.
Good news for Robinson, as he will figure to get a decent amount of work in the Jets' preseason finale. His outlook for 2016 is not promising unless Matt Forte and/or Bilal Powell go down with an injury.
