Marcus Thigpen

Thigpen was signed by the Bills in late November to provide depth to the receiving corps but hasn't seen a single snap since his arrival. The team will fill his roster spot with someone they want to audition for next season.

In an effort to shore up the kick return game, the Bills re-signed Marcus Thigpen and released Denarius Moore. Buffalo had two near fumbles on punt returns on Monday night and Thigpen may return as the primary kick returner.

Thigpen was released to make room for safety Nate Allen, who was activated on Saturday. Thigpen did not have much time to show his wares to the team after being signed just last week.

Oakland has signed the well traveled Marcus Thigen. Known more for his special teams work as a kick returner, the Raiders may be looking for a spark running kicks back. Thigpen has over 3,000 return yards and three touchdowns in his caree.
