Wesley Johnson
Player News
Johnson signed a one-year contract with the 49ers on Tuesday.
Johnson has been in the NFL for five years and has stints with the Steelers, Jets and Dolphins. He's appeared in 51 total games in his career and most recently played in 10 on the Dolphins' offensive in 2018. He will likely be a depth option on the offensive line for San Francisco should he make the final roster.
Wesley Johnson has a fractured bone in his hand/wrist.
Johnson figures to be a backup for a Jets' line who was tenth in the league in rushing for the 2015 season. His injury has very little, if any fantasy impact.
Wesley Johnson will start for the injured Nick Mangold at center.
Johnson could be in over his head, appearing in his first NFL game under center on the road. At this point you are probably committed to whomever is in your lineup, but it may not be a bad idea to bench Chris Ivory and Ryan Fitzpatrick if you have a reasonable replacement.
Jets claimed OL Wesley Johnson off waivers from the Steelers.
The Jets are a little banged up on the offensive line, so they\'ll add Johnson for depth just in case. Nothing for fantasy owners.
