Vic Beasley
Player News
Titans released OLB Vic Beasley.
The Titans came into the offseason desperate for pass-rushing help, but this signing seemed like a disaster from Day 1. Beasley was late to report to training camp and then proceeded to make just 3.0 tackles across five games. Tennessee is bottom-three in sacks (7.0) through eight weeks and still find Beasley worth releasing. He signed a one-year, $9.5 million contract this offseason.
Titans LB Vic Beasley (knee) is inactive for Week 2 against Jacksonville.
This comes as a surprise after Beasley practiced fully the last two days. He'll miss his second straight game with training camp a knee injury. Beasley looks like a good bet for a Week 3 return.
Titans DL Vic Beasley (knee) is out for Week 1 against the Broncos.
Beasley failed his initial training camp physical and hasn't made a good impression in Tennessee this offseason. This week, Beasley had two limited practices and one did not participate. He's likely week to week. The rest of the Titans' front seven can hold their own without Beasley's presence.
Titans activated DL Vic Beasley off the NFI list.
Beasley's roster status wasn't a lock after he reported to training camp late. He's spent the last month on NFI with an undisclosed injury. Coming off a long layoff, it's possible Beasley could be inactive in Week 1.
