Tyreek Burwell

Another practice squad move for the Chargers. Burwell will join the Chargers practice squad and he could get promoted to the active squad if the team were to suffer more injuries up front.

A San Diego offensive lineman suffered an injury. What a shocker. Sarcasm and a tongue-in-cheek report is needed in this case as Burwell joined the plethora of Chargers offensive linemen to get hit with the injury bug this season. It was honestly a surprise that they could even field five linemen in Week 17. These injuries, along with the ailments suffered by seemingly the entire Chargers receiving corps, greatly contributed to their success, or lack thereof, in 2015. Now it's time to regroup for the 2016 campaign.

Burwell was signed as an undrafted free-agent out of Cincinnati this offseason and was assigned to the Chargers practice squad. He will add depth on the offensive line for the Chargers heading into Week 4.
