Browns signed DL Trysten Hill, formerly of the Cardinals.
Terms weren't announced but it would be surprising if this wasn't a one-year deal. Hill was a draft bust for the Cowboys as the 58th overall pick in 2019, getting waived after the trade deadline last season. The Cardinals wound up playing him in six games as a rotational lineman before Hill sprained his knee in Week 16. He'll likely just be depth in Cleveland barring them being able to get something out of him neither the Cardinals nor Cowboys were able to.
Cardinals placed DL Trysten Hill (knee) on injured reserve.
Hill suffered a knee sprain in Week 16. It doesn't sound like a serious issue, but with just two weeks left, a stay on injured reserve ends his season. Hill earned one sack and five TFLs across two teams this year. He will be a free agent in the spring.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Cardinals DL Trysten Hill suffered a sprained knee in Sunday's Week 16 loss to the Buccaneers.
Hill was carted off in the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Bucs, leading some to believe his injury was far more serious than diagnosed. He's considered day to day by the team, but with two weeks left in what's a lost season for the Cardinals, it will be interesting to see whether or not the team opts to roll him out in either of its next two games.
Cardinals DL Trysten Hill was carted to the locker room with a leg injury in Week 16 against the Buccaneers.
Hill was rolled up on late in the second quarter and was immediately carted to the locker room. His return is questionable.
