Jaguars signed CB Tre Flowers to the active roster.
Flowers was part of the practice squad, but with Tyson Campbell now on injured reserve for the next four weeks due to a hamstring, the 29-year-old defender will add to the Jacksonville depth behind the front seven.
Falcons signed CB Tre Flowers, formerly of the Bengals, to a one-year contract.
Flowers appeared in 15 games for the Bengals last season but was lightly used on the defensive side of the ball. A former fifth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Flowers carved out a starting role early in his career with the Seahawks, but has seen his snaps diminish in each of the last three seasons. His signing becomes the latest in a slew of additions the Falcons have made to their secondary, as he becomes the fourth defensive back to join the team this offseason.
Free agent CB Tre Flowers visited the Panthers on Tuesday.
Flowers visited Atlanta in March, but his market had gone cold since and the Falcons just brought in Jeff Okudah. Flowers would likely be a depth corner in Carolina if signed. He played in 15 games last season for the Bengals, notching just 171 defensive snaps.
Falcons hosted DB Tre Flowers for a visit.
Flowers appeared in 26 games for the Bengals over the previous season and a half, managing 50 combined tackles, four pass defenses, and two fumble recoveries during that time. He made just one start with the Bengals after beginning his career in a full-time role in Seattle and is likely to be forced to settle for a short-term contract near league veteran minimum.
