Travis Swanson
Player News
Swanson announced his retirement from football Saturday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM Radio reports.
Swanson will call it a career after five seasons in the NFL. The Texas native appeared in 53 games -- starting in all but nine -- for the Lions over his first four seasons in the league. Swanson last played for the Dolphins, starting in 11 of 12 games during the 2018 season.
Travis Swanson (concussion) was ruled out for Saturday.
After missing Detroit's last 4 games and being limited all week in practice due to a concussion, Travis Swanson will not play in the Lions Wild Card playoff game in Seattle. With Swanson out Graham Glasgow will likely start in his place.
Travis Swanson (concussion) is questionable for Saturday.
Even though Swanson is still in the concussion protocol he looks likely to play Saturday against the Seahawks. He was able to practice Wednesday and Thursday which indicates he should be ready to go.
Travis Swanson (concussion) was limited on Tuesday.
Swanson has been out for a few weeks now with the concussion and remains in the protocol. He was able to practice last week as well, so those combined with this week could get him close enough to play on Saturday night in Seattle. If he can't go, Graham Glasgow should once again be the starting anchor of the offensive line.
