Terrell Watson

Watson has been on the Eagles practice all season and now gets the promotion to the active roster to fill the spot vacated by Ryan Mathews placement on the I.R. He should just be depth for the final game of the season as Darren Sproles and Byron Marshall should handle the carries for a lot of the rushing duties.

With Kenjon Barner out, the Eagles could use a bit of insurance at running back. Watson, an undrafted rookie out of Azusa Pacific, has spent time with the Bengals, Browns and Broncos practice squads, but has yet to suit up for an NFL game.

With the plethora of moves today made by the team, they viewed Watson as expendable. He will hope to latch on with another team, but the chances of him making an impact on fantasy teams this year is slim to none.

Nothing to see here... Duke Johnson and Isaiah Crowell are firmly seated as the Browns lead ball carriers, with the recently added George Atkinson serving as their third back on the 53-man roster.
