Terrance Williams
Player News
Williams (foot) recently had a workout with the Bills, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Williams was cut by the Cowboys in February after a rough 2018 in which he played only three games due to a suspension and foot injury. The 29-year-old played only 39 snaps last season after catching 53 passes for 568 yards and zero touchdowns in 2017.
Cowboys would like to re-sign unrestricted free agent WR Terrance Williams.
Williams will be 28 years old by the start of next season and could return for his 5th season in Dallas. Without Tony Romo he saw a career-low in receiving yards and targets. It's pretty clear that Dallas will look to run the ball with Ezekiel Elliott a lot in 2017, but Williams could still play a role in the passing game. He won't be as flashy of a fantasy option without Romo, but he has value in deeper leagues.
Terrance Williams (shoulder) practiced in full on Friday.
This full practice all but ensures Williams' playing this week against the Cowboys. Williams and Dez Bryant could both be active this week, which is great for rookie QB Dak Prescott. If both Williams and Bryant play, Williams' activity will likely suffer because of it.
Terrance Williams suffered a shoulder injury against the Bengals. His return is questionable.
Williams was shaken up on a play, but walked off the field under his own power. Dallas holds a substantial 28-7 lead over Cincinnati with 10 minutes to play as of right now so Dallas may want to kill the clock and run the ball. If that's the case then Williams's return is up in the air right now.
