Through the first three seasons of Garvin's career, he's mostly been a backup. The most tackles he's made in a single season is 16 and that came in 2014. Other than recording tackles, Garvin has never recorded another stat during his professional career.
Garvin tallied eight tackles with the Steelers last season. He should serve as a depth piece for the Redskins linebacking core next season.
Free agent Terence Garvin will visit the Titans on Wednesday.
With former Steelers coach Dick LeBeau in Tennessee, he will try to lure Terence Garvin to the team. Garvin has made 27 tackles in the last three years for the Steelers and is a strong special teams player. He met with the Redskins already and is scheduled to meet with Tennessee later this week. Garvin would add depth to the linebacker corps and fortify the special teams unit if he were to sign with the Titans.
Steelers LB Terence Garvin has been downgraded to out in Week 7 with a knee injury.
Steelers re-sign LB Terence Garvin, a special-teams standout, to a one-year contract.
The 24-year old has done a solid job during his first two seasons with the Steelers. He\'ll get another year to try and move his way into more defensive work and not just work on special teams.
