Bengals re-signed TE Tanner Hudson to a one-year contract.
Hudson has a career receiving line of 73-705-2, which spans six NFL seasons. The former UDFA has spent his last three years with the Bengals, with whom he caught a career-best 39 passes in 2023. A reliable backup who has made just two starts in his career, this re-signing doesn’t move the needle from a fantasy perspective.
Tanner Hudson caught his only target for 11 yards n the Bengals’ Week 18 win over the Steelers.
Bengals ruled TE Tanner Hudson, DT BJ Hill, DT Sheldon Rankins, and TE Tanner McLachlan inactive for Week 4 against the Panthers.
Hudson was inactive in Week 3 which led to a slight uptick is snaps for Mike Gesicki, so we can expect something similar in Week 4. Not having both Rankins and Hill leaves a big hole in the center of the Bengals’ defensive line, so watch for the Panthers to try and exploit that with Chuba Hubbard.
Bengals TE Tanner Hudson (knee) is out for Week 3 against the Commanders.
Hudson logged just nine offensive snaps as the fourth tight end for the Bengals in Week 1 before injuring his hamstring. Week 3 will be the second consecutive game he has missed with the ailment.
