Stedman Bailey
Player News
Stedman Bailey is still hopeful that he can return to play for Los Angeles.
The Rams have waived Bailey, following his surgery for the gun shot wounds he suffered last November. He may be hopeful of restarting his playing career but the actions by the team in releasing him do not bode well for his future as a player.
Stedman Bailey was placed on the reserve/Non-Football Injury list.
Bailey is working his way back from injuries suffered as a result of him being shot in the head last year. Although he may not be able to return to the field, the Rams have apparently offered him a position in another capacity with the organization.
Rams waived WR Stedman Bailey with a non-football injury designation.
Unfortunately there is more to this news update as Bailey's career was forced to an untimely end after he was shot twice in the head last November. Bailey is expected to clear waivers where he will join the Rams in a non-player position within the organization.
Stedman Bailey attended Wednesday's OTAs but is not practicing.
It's amazing to think that Bailey was just shot in the head twice merely a little over six months ago, yet appears close to getting back onto an NFL practice field. Once fully healthy, The Rams are likely to bring Bailey along very slowly, which is a nice way of saying that fantasy owners shouldn't worry much about him in 2016. Best of luck to him and his family however going forward with his miracle recovery.
