Neal was shaken up in the early second quarter, limping before taking a knee and having trainers come out to him. He was taken off the field to be further evaluated on the sideline for an injury to his leg.

Neal left in the first quarter of the Buccaneers’ Week 4 game against the Saints and is now being evaluated for a concussion. Dee Delaney will take over for Neal at safety.

Neal has played in 43 games since 2020 while starting 19 of them. He also set a career-high mark in tackles with 66 during the 2022 season with the Seahawks Heâ??ll look to fill a void after the Bucs lost Mike Edwards and Keanu Neal, theyâ??ve also not yet re-signed Logan Ryan. 

Neal is now a free agent. The team tendered Neal on March 15 after a 2022 season in which the former undrafted free agent recorded 66 tackles and eight defended passes. Neal, who spent the past four seasons with Seattle, will likely have a few suitors in the coming weeks.
