Ron Leary
Player News
Free agent Ronald Leary visited the Browns.
He left without a deal. This is the first interest in Leary since the Broncos declined his option. Injury-prone Leary has missed 24 games the last two seasons. He’s a back-end starter when healthy.
Leary (concussion) announced Thursday that he's healthy and has resumed training, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
Leary missed the final four games of the 2019 regular season due to a brain injury, but it looks as though he's now cleared the league's concussion protocol and returned to full health. The Broncos are not expected to pick up the 30-year-old's option for 2020, in which case Leary will look to catch on elsewhere in the league as an unrestricted free agent.
Leary (concussion) has been ruled out for the Broncos' Week 17 regular-season finale against the Raiders, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Leary suffered a concussion Dec. 1 and has been sidelined since. In his absence, look for Austin Schlottmann to continue filling in at right guard. The 30-year-old will now have to set his sights on preparing for the 2020 season.
Leary (concussion) is out for Sunday's game against Detroit, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
It will be Leary's third missed game in a row. Austin Schlottman is set to replace him again.
