Colts S Rolan Milligan signed his tender.
Milligan played in 11 games as a rookie in 2019, racking up 15 tackles as a backup defender and contributor on special teams. The former undrafted free agent will turn 26 in August.
Milligan (foot) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
Milligan was injured during Monday's loss to the Saints, and the Colts have opted to shut the safety down for the rest of the year. The 25-year-old played in 11 games for the Colts this season, registering 15 tackles while playing mostly on special teams.
Milligan (foot) was ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against New Orleans, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
It's unclear how Milligan suffered the injury, but the fact that he was immediately ruled out for the game is cause for concern. In his stead, look for Khari Willis and George Odum to receive an uptick in depth safety snaps.
