Rashad Greene

Greene saw a minor offensive role over the previous five games with D.J Chark (quad) sidelined, but Chark's return Sunday made him a healthy scratch. The 26-year-old played eight games with the Jaguars and unlike his previous stints with the team was barely utilized as a punt returner. Greene enters 2019 as a free agent and is likely to serve as a depth receiver and possible return man with his new team, assuming he is able to crack the 53-man roster.

He suffered the injury in Week 12's game against the Bills, and his season is now effectively over. The team has promoted Shane Wynn from the practice squad, and he does not have to perform at a very high level to replace Greene, who has not had a catch in the past five games, and only has five receptions for 32 yards on the season.

Greene does not see many passes thrown his way and is not much a fantasy player. He makes his biggest impact returning punts. Arrelious Benn will fill in for Greene at WR.

While this may be good news for Greene, it will more than likely mean little to us fantasy owners. Greene will be the 4th option in a Jaguars passing attack that is almost certain to regress -- because of their new-look defense -- and their hopeful ability to stay on the field longer. However, if an injury pops up and forces top WR's Allen Robinson or Allen Hurns to miss any time, Greene and his sure hands may become a viable option, especially in PPR formats. Greene has surpassed Marqise Lee on the depth chart.
