Quinten Rollins
Player News
Rollins was released by the 49ers on Friday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Rollins hasn't played since he was with the Packers in 2017. The former second-round pick is little more than a depth secondary and special teams option for teams at this point.
Quinten Rollins (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's game.
Rollins has been sidelined for both of the Packers playoff games due to a concussion and it appears as though he will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game. Rollins has been reportedly close to clearing the league's concussion protocol, which he must do if he wants to play on Sunday. If Rollins is unable to suit up on Sunday, Herb Waters and Josh Hawkins would see a boost in playing time against a talented Falcons receiving corps.
Quinten Rollins is still in the concussion protocol.
The fact that it's already Thursday and Rollins is still in concussion protocol is not a good sign for his status for this upcoming weekend. Rollins missed the team's first playoff game against the Giants.
Quinten Rollins is in the league's concussion protocol.
Rollins ended up leaving the Packers game against the Lions due to a neck/concussion situation, and it appears as though he's a longshot to play this weekend against the Giants. The 24-year-old has started 10 games for Green Bay so far this season but Damarious Randall will likely continue to start at left cornerback with Rollins sidelined.
