He'll enter the NFL's concussion protocol. He's fighting for a roster spot, so he needs every snap he can get. He recorded 13 tackles in 15 games last season.

With Dwayne Gratz out and Jonathan Cyprien doubtful for Week 2, Thompson will get a roster spot and serve as depth for the Jaguars secondary. There's no fantasy value here though.
