Paul Perkins

Perkins, 26, spent 2020 on the Colts' practice squad and did not see any game day action. He's bounced around the league since starting five games for the Giants in 2016 and 2017, and he'll likely catch on with another team this summer. 

Even if one of them were to sign a last-minute contract, neither would be in line for work this Sunday behind Jerick McKinnon and Jeffery Wilson. Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman are only week to week as well, so any value from Wilson will likely be short lived. Mostert has been the best back on the roster dating back to late last season.

Perkins has bounced around this year, making stops with the Giants, Lions and Jaguars, but he only suited up in four games with the Lions. He'll add necessary depth to the Ravens' backfield since Mark Ingram is working through a nagging calf injury.

Perkins appeared in four games with the Lions earlier this season, racking up 29 yards on 12 carries while catching his only target for nine yards. He'll wait in the wings for a depth opportunity to open up in Jacksonville's backfield.
