Paul Kruger
Player News
Paul Kruger (back) did not practice on Wednesday.
Kruger suffered a back injury during the Saints game against the Chargers in Week 4, and he was not able to finish the game due to the injury. The former Brown was not able to practice on Wednesday, which puts his status for the Saints Week 6 game against the Panthers in jeopardy. He's currently listed as questionable for this week, and we should be able to tell whether or not he will be able to play by his participation in practice over the next couple of days. The 30-year-old has made five tackles and has a half of a sack in four games played with New Orleans this season.
DE Paul Kruger has a back injury and is questionable to return.
The injury comes with the Saints down 3 in San Diego trying to make a comeback. As bad as the Saints defense has been, Kruger provides strong leadership for the unit. As it stands right now his return is Questionable.
Former Browns pass-rusher Paul Kruger is signing with the Saints.
Kruger had one great year with the Browns, but never lived up to the contract he signed after leaving the Ravens. The defensive end joins a defense that can use as much help on that side of the ball as possible. Kruger will get every chance to prove he should be a pass rushing specialist for the Saints and could be an option in deeper IDP leagues for his ability to get to the quarterback.
Browns have released Paul Kruger on Monday.
No, not the bagel people. The defensive LB for the Browns. It is after-all that time where teams will be making cuts, and apparently the Browns felt it was time to part ways with Kruger. Outside of IDP leagues (and even very little there as well), this news offer little fantasy relevance.
