2024 Player Outlook

Mahomes certainly took a step back in 2023, throwing for just 4,183 yards with 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. The inconsistent Chiefs passing attack was in large part due to the talent at wide receiver, relying on Travis Kelce is fine but rookie Rashee Rice was inconsistent and the supporting cast of Marques-Valdez Scantling, Kadarius Toney and crew was less than stellar. With that lack of help, a clearly frustrated Mahomes finished 2023 as the QB12. So, what to expect from Mahomes in 2024? Well, off another Super Bowl win, the Chiefs signed Hollywood Brown and once again went into the draft, using their first round pick on speedy receiver Xavier Worthy. Mahomes still has Travis Kelce and we expect Rashee Rice to play though his legal issues may cost him some games. Add those two to the new crop of pass catchers and the talent is certainly there to get Mahomes back to being one of the more productive QB's in fantasy football.
