Udoh finds a new home after being with the Vikings since 2019. He made 18 starts during his time in Minnesota and now looks to provide the Saints with quality depth on the line.

Udoh started at left tackle for the Vikings in Thursday night’s contest in place of the injured Christian Darrisaw. Despite his injury, Darrisaw was active for last night’s game, which should be an indicator that he’ll be ready to go in Week 3 when the Vikings take on the Chargers.

Udoh got tangled up in the fourth quarter and was replaced by David Quessenberry. Regular starter Christian Darrisaw (ankle) was “active” but obviously not healthy enough to enter the game. Udoh’s loss makes Darrisaw’s Week 3 return against the Chargers imperative.

Udoh was drafted by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft and appeared in eight games for them last season. The veteran tackle earned a PFF pass block grade of 76.8 in limited action but has allowed just one sack on over 1,200 career snaps. He'll continue to serve as added depth along the Vikings' offensive line.
