Raiders released QB Nathan Peterman.
The 30-year-old legend was signed as an offseason camp arm. Genuinely one of the worst quarterbacks to ever make it close to a decade in the NFL, Peterman must read one hell of a playbook. He’ll be around for scout team/practice squad work.
Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vinny Bonsignore reports the Raiders have signed Nathan Peterman.
Peterman finds work again by returning to the Raiders where he spent the 2020-2021 seasons. He enters a crowded quarterback room that includes Gardner Minshew and Aiden O’Connell, which likely means he’ll be an extra camp arm. Peterman enters his seventh season with four touchdown passes and 13 interceptions to his credit.
Saints agreed to terms with QB Nathan Peterman, formerly of the Bears, on a contract.
A career line of 712-4-13 on 160 career pass attempts isn’t enough to keep Peterman out of the game. For now, Peterman will likely compete with second-year quarterback Jake Haener for the Saint’s backup role, but they would be wise to consider adding at least one or two more quarterbacks via the draft of free agency.
Bears released QB Nathan Peterman.
The last time the Bears released Peterman he was back with the team within hours. Not exactly an in-demand veteran, if the Bears want Peterman back next week, he’ll almost certainly be there. With a Thursday night matchup against the Commanders on tap, the Bears will enter Week 5 with only Justin Fields and rookie Tyson Bagent on the roster.
