Dolphins signed WR Mohamed Sanu to a one-year contract.
Sanu hasn't been fantasy relevant since 2019 and the Dolphins won't really ask him to be in 2022. He'll be a dirty-work blocker and role player if he makes the roster.
49ers activated WR Mohamed Sanu (knee) from injured reserve.
Sanu has been out since Week 9 because of the knee issue. He recorded 15 catches for 177 yards in eight regular season games. Sanu will not be a fantasy option in the NFC Championship game.
49ers designated Mohamed Sanu (knee) to return from injured reserve.
The 49ers did the same for DBs Emmanuel Moseley and Tavon Wilson. Sanu suffered a knee sprain in Week 9 that forced him to the reserve list. He has a shot to return this week as the 49ers push for a playoff spot, but he will not be a fantasy option either way.
49ers signed WR Mohamed Sanu, formerly of the Lions, to a one-year contract.
Sanu will return to San Francisco, where he played three games in 2020 before being cut. He managed one nine-yard reception in his brief stint with the Niners before signing with Detroit later in the 2020 season. Sanu, 31, isn't likely to make the team's Week 1 active roster, and would only see playing time if the 49ers once again struggle with wideout injuries. It's been downhill for the veteran since the Patriots unbelievably traded a second round draft pick for Sanu in 2019, only to see him catch 12 passes in six games.
