2024 Player Outlook

After being cast aside in favor of a better blocker in Miami, Gesicki had yet another disappointing season on the Patriots playing second fiddle to Hunter Henry. It didn't help that the Patriots didn't call a single tight end screen in 2023. Gesicki has always been more of a "big slot" player and he played ~90% of his snaps at the slot last year in New England. With Tyler Boyd gone, he could carve himself out an interesting role in Cincinnati in 2024. He'll not only need to do battle with tight ends Tanner Hudson and Erick All at TE but also rookie Jermaine Burton for those slot snaps.
