Eagles placed Matt Tobin (knee) on injured reserve.
Another huge loss for the Eagles offense, adding to what appears to be a season that has already slipped by them. Don't expect things to get any easier for rookie quarterback Carson Wentz.
Matt Tobin signed a two-year deal Monday.
Tobin was graded out as one of the worst starting guards in the NFL last season, so he is lucky to be signing this two-year deal. Don't be surprised if he ends up back in a rotational role once again in 2016.

The Eagles offense was pretty average last season, but it is unclear how much of that can be blamed on Chip Kelly. The offense, and especially LeSean McCoy, has a chance to be very good, and bringing Tobin back likely helps.
Matt Tobin completed the NFL's five-step concussion process and returned to practice Thursday.
The Eagles are very happy to have received this news and Tobin will be out on the field Sunday against the Titans. Business as usual.
