Broncos re-signed OT Matt Peart to a two-year, $7 million contract.

Peart signed a one-year deal in Denver last offseason after spending his rookie contract with the Giants. He joined the Broncos with seven career starts to his name and was credited with two more during his first year in Denver. Peart is a reliable swing tackle who can start in a pinch and picks up plenty of reps as a sixth lineman.

The former third-round pick has seven career starts across 43 appearances. Though primarily a backup during his time in New York, Peart has experience at both left and right tackle. He earned a single start, this time at right tackle, in the 2023 season. Peart will be a depth option for the Broncos.

The Giants' swing tackle, second-year pro Peart had been pressed into heavy duty this season, playing 421 snaps between the right and left sides. He had been filling in for RT Nate Solder (COVID-19) when he was injured on Sunday. The No. 99 overall pick of last year's draft, Peart will be old for a third-year pro in 2022, turning 25 in June. His experience and solid-ish play should still keep him in line for a 53-man roster spot, provided his rehab goes smoothly.
