Marshall Newhouse
Player News
Titans signed OT Marshall Newhouse.
Newhouse has been on the practice squad for the last two weeks, but he'll be a swing tackle for the Titans with first-round RT Isaiah Wilson away from the team. Newhouse brings experience to an offensive line that's been rotating members around for the last two months.
Newhouse (illness) is active for Sunday's tilt against Buffalo.
Newhouse was held out of practice throughout the week due to his illness and was questionable entering Sunday. He'll figure to see his normal role as the starting left tackle.
The Patriots have listed Newhouse (illness) as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Bills.
Newhouse was unable to practice all week and now looks like a true game-time decision. His status will depend on how he is feeling closer to kickoff. Should he ultimately be unable to go, Korey Cunningham and Caleb Benenoch would be the options to replace him at left tackle.
Newhouse (illness) did not practice Thursday, Andrew Callahan of The Springfield Republican reports.
Newhouse has yet to practice this week due to an undisclosed illness. The 30-year-old veteran started at left tackle during New England's last two games. If Newhouse were forced to miss any time, the Patriots would be left with Korey Cunningham and Caleb Benenoch as their only options at left tackle.
