Wheaton (finger) is a long shot to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
Wheaton was unable to play in Week 1 because of the injury, and his potential continued absence could open up more snaps for Deonte Thompson or Tre McBride, with Josh Bellamy (ankle) also questionable to play.
