Marcus Easley (knee) was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
On Tuesday, Bills WR Marcus Easley was placed on the teams PUP list, as he is still recovering from knee surgery. Easley will now miss at least the first six weeks of the season, but with a bit of a logjam at the receiver position, the Bills are going to have to make a tough decision about whether or not his special teams value is worth more than another receivers skills.
Rex Ryan said Wednesday that Marcus Easley (knee) is not close to returning to practice.
He suffered a brutal injury in a Week 16 win last season and is still trying to come back from a dislocated kneecap and broken knee. He remains a long shot to make the roster even if he can get his knee right.
Marcus Easley (knee) is making good progress in his rehab.
The Bills do not have any healthy receivers right now, and while there is no reason to believe Easley will have any fantasy value, it would certainly help Tyrod Taylor to get another one of his weapons back.
Marcus Easley (knee), Stephon Gilmore (shoulder), Jerry Hughes (wrist) and Kyle Williams (knee) have not yet been cleared to participate in OTA's, per Rex Ryan.
Buffalo Bills WR Marcus Easley has been seen on the field running routes and going through drills, but has not been cleared to participate in Organized Team Activities, per Head Coach Rex Ryan. Easley ended last season on Injured Reserve after a knee injury and only caught one pass, which went for a 58-yd touchdown, on three targets in 13 games.
