Mack Brown

This appears to be a depth move, as Josh Jacobs, Jalen Richard and Doug Martin all seem to have a firm hold on the top three spots on the depth chart. Brown last played with the Redskins in 2017, but was a part of the team's practice squad last season until mid-November.

With the addition of Brown to the 53-man roster, sings are pointing to Matt Jones not playing on Sunday. Although Brown led the NFL in rushing during the preseason, look for him to be third on the depth chart behind Robert Kelly and Chris Thompson.

Mack Brown was incredible in the last preseason game but it clearly wasn't enough. Brown will definitely gauge interest if the Redskins don't bring him onto the practice squad.

Mack Brown is a rookie out of Florida and it will take a lot injuries to get playing time this year as the Redskins have Alfred Morris, Matt Jones, Chris Thompson, and recently signed Pierre Thomas.
